What you need to keep in mind when designing lighting in your dining room
When you sit down at a table together with your family, you want the light not only to brighten the space but also to create a pleasant atmosphere. That's why it's worth getting lamps in the dining room that would allow you to adjust the intensity and colour of the light. Obviously, with regards to the most representative room of the house, you can not overlook the aesthetic qualities of lamps.

A meal with a family requires intense light but for a romantic dinner you would prefer moody lighting that creates the right atmosphere, wouldn't you?
Combine aesthetics and usability
Dining room lighting is the ground for a compromise. Kanlux JASMIN lamps may be an ideal solution. Those minimalist round luminaires with a replaceable source of light will illuminate and decorate almost any interior in an impressive way. The version with white oak casing looks particularly good in rooms with modern decor. Their natural colour and wood texture create a cosy, homely atmosphere even in interiors in industrial style. The ceiling lamps can have from 1 to 3 sources of light with an E27 base and when combined with wall lamps from that set, they will create an impressive, though economical arrangement.
Light the table, not the platters
While having a meal, you don't need lighting directed at your plate but it is still worth getting a source of strong light directed at the tabletop. A good solution is Kanlux ALGO lamp. It is a series of pendant luminaires, in the shape of a cylinder or a cube. Their small size and the possibility to adjust the length of the cord give unusual freedom in creating arrangements in virtually any room. What's important, you can create the mood in the room by selecting, on your own, the source of light of any colour temperature.
Illuminate whatever you want
If you need a combination of directional and central lighting, Kanlux ENALI luminaires, i.e., a family of point luminaries, are a good solution. They can be placed both on the ceiling and on the walls, and thanks to adjustable joints you can freely set the angle of light. Those universal luminaires, available in black or white, are ideal for austere loft spaces and their shape will also emphasise the uniqueness of the atmosphere of a retro-style interior in a perfect way. Depending on the size of the room, they can be combined into sets and directed at any spot. Each of the luminaires can have from 1 to 4 sources of light, which gives a lot of possibilities to shape the space.
Create mood with light
The lighting of the dining room during a romantic dinner should be slightly different from the above-mentioned solutions. Apart from candles, decorative bulbs that give light of lower intensity, such as Kanlux XLED, will work perfectly well. Decorative "LED bulbs" will allow you to create a cosy atmosphere thanks to the warm colour of light in the amber glass bulb. The energy-efficient LED filament will definitely harmonise with almost any style of the interior. You can also choose bulbs such as Kanlux XLED STEP CCT, in the case in which you can change the colour and intensity of light with just one click.
A shared meal is a special moment when all members of a household come together. Regardless of whether your dining room is a separate section of another room or a separate room, you can decorate it with light that will create the right atmosphere.
